Another Casualty for the Armenian Side: Ministry of Defense Releases Statement

On January 11, following provocations by Azerbaijani units along the eastern border of Armenia, intense gunfire erupted in the area. On the same day, at midnight, the body of a serviceman of the Armenian Armed Forces, Private Vahan Vachagani Babayan (born in 2003), was discovered with a fatal gunshot wound.

The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia shares the heavy grief of this loss and expresses its condolences to the family members, relatives, and comrades of the fallen serviceman. The condition of two injured servicemen is stable, and their lives are not in danger.
