In Norabak, there have been no sounds of gunfire heard since around 18:30. This was stated by Vazgen Asatryan, the administrative head of the Norabak community in Vardenis, in an interview with Auroranews, noting that there is no tension among the residents.

“We are not hearing gunfire at this moment, and the residents are waiting; we are all waiting for official information,” said Asatryan.

“The situation is tense; gunfire is still continuing at this moment, with various caliber weapons being fired towards Geghamabak,” stated Hakob Avetyan, the head of the Geghamasar consolidated community, in an interview with Hetq.

According to the community leader, there has always been panic and tension among the population since the war, but the situation is not critical. Regarding the injured, Hakob Avetyan mentioned that he does not have precise information; as far as he is aware, the injured are conscript soldiers. He also noted that the border situation had been relatively calm in recent days, with no sounds of gunfire heard.

Earlier, the Ministry of Defense had issued a press release stating that around 17:30, Azerbaijani Armed Forces units had resumed firing towards Armenian positions located in the eastern direction of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, also using artillery and drones.

“The Armenian side has taken appropriate actions. As of 18:30, the exchange of fire continues. Information regarding casualties on the Armenian side is being verified. At this moment, three injuries are known,” the Ministry of Defense's statement said.
