The End of the Coronavirus Pandemic is Not Far Off, Says WHO Representative

The end of the coronavirus pandemic is in sight, but the next three months will be tough for global health. This was stated by David Nabarro, the World Health Organization's special envoy, in an interview with British Sky News.

“We see that the end is not far away. However, before we reach that end, there will be several more outbreaks of the disease,” said the WHO representative. David Nabarro assessed that the virus continues to evolve, with new variants of the coronavirus expected to emerge soon. According to him, while the healthcare system in Western Europe is coping with the pandemic, the situation in other parts of the world is nearing critical levels.
