Armenian entrepreneurs are paying customs fees to Azerbaijanis to travel to Iran. A receipt provided by the Azerbaijani customs checkpoint has surfaced, confirming that Persian drivers engaged in transporting goods for Armenian businessmen continue to use the section of the Goris-Kapan route under Azerbaijani control, for which they pay the Azerbaijanis money, in this case, $130.

In this regard, the newspaper 'Zhoghavor' attempted to contact the Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan to clarify how much the residents of the Republic of Armenia have paid to the Azerbaijani side since the day the Azerbaijani customs collections began for using this route. However, the minister advised sending a written inquiry.

It turns out that Azerbaijanis are not only being paid by the Iranians but also by our compatriots for passing through the Goris-Kapan highway, as the alternative route is impassable for trucks.
