In Kostroma, Russia, men accused of murdering a 5-year-old girl have been arrested, and they have confessed to the crime.

On January 4, 2022, shortly after noon, the 5-year-old girl went out to play when she was snatched by two men right in front of bystanders, who took her away in an unknown direction. Traffic cameras recorded this incident. When the mother noticed her child was missing, she immediately contacted the police, and a search began.

The pedophiles had met about four months earlier and started living together. The murderers confessed that they had intended to kidnap a boy but couldn’t find a suitable victim.
