Shooting Incident in Ararat Region: 88-Year-Old Woman Hospitalized with Gunshot Wound to Right Shin

On January 9, an extraordinary incident occurred in the Ararat region. Around 18:40, the Masis Medical Center reported to the police that a citizen had been admitted with a diagnosis of a gunshot wound to the right shin.

The police determined that the injured individual is 88-year-old Anichka M., a resident of Ranchpar village. They also found out that on the same day, around 16:15, while in her backyard, the victim heard gunshots and then noticed blood flowing from the soft tissue of her right shin, realizing that she had been shot by an unknown hunter's careless shot.
