Black Ice, Snow, and Fog on Armenian Roads

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that there are closed and difficult-to-navigate roads within the territory of Armenia.

The road from the Amberd Fortress to Lake Kari in the Aragatsotn province is closed. Certain roads in the Aragats region of Aragatsotn province and sections 77-85 of the Yerevan-Gyumri highway are difficult to navigate due to snowdrifts.

Snowfall is occurring in the Shirak province and the city of Spitak in Lori province. There is black ice on the following roads: Spitak serpentine, Vardenyats mountain pass, Vanadzor-Dilijan, Spitak-Gyumri, Saravan-
