Artsakh Foreign Ministry Issues Statement
The Foreign Ministry of the Republic of Artsakh has issued a statement saying: "Today, on January 10, the Azerbaijani side has again grossly violated the ceasefire regime by targeting the citizens and civilian objects in the areas of Martuni’s Karmir Shuka-Taghavard and Askeran’s Nakhijevanik communities.
Such actions are manifestations of the anti-Armenian and Nazi policies being pursued by the Azerbaijani state, which once again demonstrate that the ‘peaceful’ declarations of the Azerbaijani authorities have no relation to their real intentions towards Artsakh, the Armenian people, and their expansionist goals in the region.
Since the cessation of military actions, Azerbaijan's aggressive behavior constitutes a gross violation of the reached agreements, norms of international law, and humanitarian principles, aimed at terrorizing the society of the Republic of Artsakh and disrupting the activities of the Russian peacekeeping mission.
We find it necessary to once again emphasize that through such steps, Azerbaijan cannot undermine the determination of the Artsakh people to live and create in Artsakh, for which any status within Azerbaijan is absolutely unacceptable. We will continue to develop and strengthen our homeland."
