Which Roads Are Closed in Armenia: Ministry of Emergency Situations Reports

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that there are closed and difficult-to-navigate roads within the territory of Armenia.

The road from Amberd Fortress to Lake Kari in the Aragatsotn province is closed. The Vardenyats Pass is difficult to navigate for trucks with trailers.

On the Vardaghbyur-Bavra road in the Shirak province, there is black ice in certain areas.

According to information received from the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations’ Crisis Management Center in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open to all types of vehicles.

Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
