Azerbaijani Units Fired Shots, Ministry of Defense Reports

The statement from the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense claiming that on January 8, units of the Armenian Armed Forces shelled Azerbaijani combat positions located along the eastern direction of the Armenia-Azerbaijan border does not correspond to reality.

According to the Armenian Ministry of Defense, Azerbaijani units fired several sporadic shots in that section of the border, to which the Armenian side did not respond.

The situation along the entire length of the Armenia-Azerbaijan border is currently relatively stable and is under the full control of the Armenian Armed Forces.
