The police have once again begun patrolling the central square of Aktau city in Kazakhstan, where the situation remains calm. This was reported by Sputnik Kazakhstan.
"Police have resumed patrols in the central square of Aktau. Protests have been taking place in the city since January 2, but law enforcement ceased monitoring the situation in the square two days ago. The situation in the city is calm. Protesters continue to remain in the square, with their numbers being around several dozen," the report from Sputnik Kazakhstan states.
