The Cost of Insurance for Alek Simonyan's Newly Acquired Vehicle Revealed

The newly acquired vehicle of the President of the National Assembly, Alek Simonyan, has been insured with the insurance company "Sil Insurance," owned by the ruling party MP Khachatur Sukiasyan, at a cost of 1,602,000 AMD. This was reported by armdaily.am.

According to the list of purchases made by the government, the insurance is of the CASCO type and has been taken out for one year, from December 2021 to December 2022.

Recall that on November 25, the Government of Armenia approved the purchase of an official BMW 750Li xDrive LCI vehicle valued at 90 million AMD for the President of the National Assembly, a decision that faced significant public criticism. In an online press conference, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, addressing the issue of Alek Simonyan's new vehicle, mentioned that his old official car also required excessive expenses.
