It Is Known How Many Armenian Soldiers Have Deployed to Kazakhstan

Based on the decision of the Collective Security Council of the CSTO regarding the deployment of collective peacekeeping forces to the Republic of Kazakhstan for a limited period under Article 4 of the Collective Security Treaty, and in accordance with the provisions of the treaty on the peacekeeping operations of the CSTO organization, the Armed Forces of Armenia have sent a peacekeeping unit (comprising 100 servicemen) to the Republic of Kazakhstan.

During the mission, the Armenian peacekeeping unit will carry out functions exclusively related to the protection of strategically significant buildings and infrastructure.
