VIDEO: Flights Cancelled in Kazakhstan

All flights from Kazakhstan's capital, Nur-Sultan Nursultan Nazarbayev Airport, to Almaty have been cancelled. Several armored vehicles have been deployed near the Nur-Sultan airport, and military patrols are operational in the surrounding area.

A queue has formed near the entrance to the departure lounge, as security personnel are not allowing people to enter. Only passengers with nearby flights are permitted access. Furthermore, individuals who had planned to fly to Almaty are also prohibited from entering the departure area.

When asked how to reach Almaty, security staff replied that they do not know.

The video showcases the situation at Nur-Sultan Airport on the morning of January 6. Flights have been cancelled until noon. A state of emergency is currently in effect in Kazakhstan.
