Kyrgyz Forces Will Not Confront Protesters in Kazakhstan
The Kyrgyz troops, part of the CSTO peacekeeping force, will not confront the protesters and will be engaged solely in the protection of military significance objects. This was reported by the press secretary of the country's president.
We have previously reported that the CSTO has sent a peacekeeping contingent to Kazakhstan.
Meanwhile, Kyrgyzstan has already begun evacuating its citizens from Kazakhstan.
