Driver Who Run Over Woman Flees the Scene

On January 5, an emergency incident occurred in Yerevan. In the afternoon, the Yerevan unit of the Patrol Service of the RA Police received operational information that a driver of an unidentified brand and license plate vehicle had run over a female pedestrian at the intersection of Muratsan and Sasuncik Davit streets, leaving her helpless and fleeing the scene.

According to shamshyan.com, following hot on the trail, the unit commander Aram Dadayan, along with the platoon commander Gevorg Torosyan and senior patrol officers Aramo Margaryan and Vahe Harutyunyan, are determining the whereabouts of the victim and heading to her residence.

At the victim's home, located in the Erebuni administrative area, upon seeing her, the patrol officers call for Yerevan's 1-03 emergency service, and an on-duty medical team arrives quickly to provide initial medical assistance to the woman at the scene before transporting her to the hospital.

Necessary measures are being taken to identify the vehicle involved in the incident, as well as the driver, and to locate both the driver and the vehicle.
