Journalists conducted interviews with protesters in Kazakhstan. One of the protesters explains that the unrest is being driven by provocateurs.

“We want to live like in Sweden and Norway. We are tired of poverty; we want changes. We want the people to receive the people's wealth. No one is stealing anything; these are provocateurs,” the protesters stated. It is noteworthy that the protests in Kazakhstan began in the early days of the New Year. Residents of Zhanaozen and Aktau took to the streets to protest against the doubling of the price of liquefied gas.
