Nikol Pashinyan on Non-Working Days

Nikol Pashinyan on Non-Working Days

“We are entering 2022 with a serious launch of reforms,” Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated at the start of the Government session today. “After many years of discussions, we have finally made the decision to reduce the number of non-working days during the New Year holidays, which I believe is a justified decision,” he noted.

“We must emphasize that with this decision, we highlight the need to focus more on work in the coming years. At the same time, it should be stressed that we are not undermining the right of our citizens to rest, as legislation provides for 20 working days of vacation for employed citizens, in addition to the 12 non-working days we currently have,” the Prime Minister emphasized, noting that we must adapt to this mode of life.
