25-Year-Old Driver Hits 3 Pedestrians and Crashes into Mercedes in Yerevan: Details
On January 4, an accident involving a hit-and-run occurred in Yerevan. Around 11:45 PM, a 25-year-old resident of Yerevan, David A., struck pedestrians with his Opel vehicle near the building located at 1 Sari Tagh, 5th Street.
The victims included 36-year-old Karapet K. from Yerevan, 25-year-old Marine Gh. from Masis, and 23-year-old Marine M. from Vedi. Following the hit-and-run, David A. collided with a Mercedes parked by a 32-year-old resident of Yerevan, Grigor T.
According to shamshyan.com, as a result of the incident, David A., his passenger, 26-year-old Gurgen T., and the injured pedestrians Karapet K., Marine Gh., and Marine M. were taken to the “Erebuni” Medical Center with varying degrees of bodily injuries.
The first to assist the injured were citizens and operatively arriving patrol officers from the Yerevan division of the Armenian police, along with rescuers from the 3rd Fire and Rescue Squad of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Subsequently, the rescuers disconnected the vehicles from power, closed the valves of the gas cylinders, and helped the injured to the ambulances.
