Turkish Airline Applies to Armenian Civil Aviation Committee
The Turkish airline "Pegasus" has applied to the Armenian Civil Aviation Committee for permission to operate flights between Istanbul and Yerevan.
In an interview with "Armenpress," Sona Harutyunyan, the press secretary of the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia, confirmed this information. "Pegasus has submitted an application to the Civil Aviation Committee to conduct two flights per week starting from February," said Harutyunyan.
The application is currently being reviewed by the Armenian Civil Aviation Committee, and a decision will be made soon.
Previously, the aviation authorities of the Republic of Armenia had allowed Flyone Armenia to operate non-charter flights on the Yerevan-Istanbul-Yerevan route.
