Aren Aramyan's Health Condition Incompatible with Detention, Abrahamyan
I find the health condition of serviceman Aren Aramyan particularly concerning, as it is a result of a gunshot wound inflicted by the enemy and is incompatible with detention. This was stated by Tigran Abrahamyan, a member of the 'Honorary Have' faction, on his Facebook page.
“Today, I went to the Armavir Penitentiary to make a tour and meet with the five servicemen who were captured by Azerbaijan during the aggression on November 16, 2021, and are currently in detention. I consider the health condition of serviceman Aren Aramyan extremely alarming, as it is a result of a gunshot wound inflicted by the enemy and is incompatible with his detention. I will address this issue further in the near future.
If the health of this serviceman worsens further due to detention and its prolongation, I warn in advance that I will do everything to hold accountable those who are directly and indirectly responsible for it. The greatest 'crime' of the units that served in the directions of Azerbaijani aggression is that the authorities had the task of designating scapegoats to 'digest' the next handover of sovereign Armenian territory.
While not excluding the violations committed by individual servicemen during the days of Azerbaijani aggression, I continue to insist that the root cause of the territories handed over and the situation created is the various blows dealt by the authorities to the armed forces, which have created quite a complex situation within the Armenian army.
Being constantly targeted by the authorities, from privates to generals, the armed forces are continuously subjected to shocks, in which the problems become unavoidable. In this situation, it is simply unacceptable to place the responsibility for failures and losses solely on the servicemen of various ranks,” the MP wrote.
