VIDEO: Young Man Enters Internet Club with Gun, Threatens and Steals Money from Cash Register

Police in Nor Nork uncovered a robbery that occurred on Gayi Street. According to reports from the police press service, on the night of December 30, the Nor Nork division received a report via the operational management center from a citizen who alerted them of a theft at an internet club on Gayi Street.

However, the operational group dispatched to the scene discovered a different situation. At around 4:30 AM, an individual armed with a gun entered the internet club, threatened staff, and stole money from the cash register.

Criminal investigators from the Yerevan police department and the Nor Nork division cooperated to uncover the crime using fresh leads, undertaking various operational-investigative measures. As a result of comprehensive and multifaceted actions, information emerged suggesting that the robbery may have been committed by a 28-year-old resident of 28 Shoprani Street in the capital.

On the same day, at approximately 10:30 PM, the suspect was located and taken to the Nor Nork police division, where he was presented to the territorial investigative body for questioning. He has provided a confession, been arrested, and subsequently remanded in custody.

Efforts are underway to locate the gun. The preliminary investigation into the criminal case initiated on the grounds of robbery is ongoing.
