Foreign Nationals Hospitalized After Consuming Shawarma in Yerevan
On January 1, a case of food poisoning occurred in Yerevan. Around 15:40, the Infectious Diseases National Center received an emergency call reporting that foreign nationals had been admitted with a diagnosis of "food poisoning." According to shamshyan.com, police determined that the patients were citizens of the Islamic Republic of Iran: 21-year-old Ahmad S., 20-year-old Ali A., 22-year-old Fodi F., and 20-year-old Mondi N.
The individuals reported that on the same day, they had consumed shawarma at the "Chip-L-Days" food point located at 15 Pushkin Street, which was the cause of their poisoning.
