Driver of Route 4 Assaulted: What Happened at 1 Baghramyan Street
Arsen Gagik Manukyan has been charged with assault following an incident that occurred on May 27, 2021, at approximately 11:20 AM, in the parking area designated for public transportation vehicles at 1 Baghramyan Street in Yerevan, near France Square. Manukyan was reportedly driving a GAZelle vehicle with the license plate 0509T and, after speeding, became involved in a dispute with the driver of an unidentified public transport vehicle traveling on Baghramyan Street.
The conflict escalated after Manukyan intervened in response to a remark made during the altercation with Kajik Spiridon Gevorgyan. Leaving the driver’s seat, he approached the vehicle and, after opening its door, assaulted Gevorgyan by striking him once on the right temple. Following this, he forcibly pulled Gevorgyan from the car and struck him four times on various parts of his body with his foot, resulting in injuries that included subcutaneous hemorrhage in the right temple and soft tissue contusion.
