COVID-19 Situation Update

As of January 3, 29 new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Armenia, bringing the total number of infected individuals to 345,036. During the last 24 hours, 6 citizens have died as a result of the virus, increasing the death toll to 7,983, according to the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia.

No deaths due to other illnesses among COVID-19 patients have been recorded in the past day. As of January 3, the number of these deaths stands at 1,507. The total death toll has now reached 9,490.

In the last day, 140 individuals have recovered from the virus, making the total number of recoveries 331,998. A total of 2,840 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours, with an overall total of 2,577,537 tests performed to date.
