Armenian Embassy in Greece Addresses Possible Extradition of Sevan Nshanian

The Armenian Embassy in Greece has responded to the possible extradition of the Istanbul-Armenian intellectual Sevan Nshanian to Turkey, stating: “The Armenian Embassy in Greece is aware of the ongoing process regarding Istanbul-Armenian intellectual and citizen of Armenia Sevan Nshanian and is taking all possible steps to resolve the issue.”

Sevan Nshanian was granted asylum in Greece five years ago after fleeing from a Turkish prison.
