Armed Man Arrested in the U.S. for Attempting to Kill Biden, Obama, and Zuckerberg

U.S. authorities have arrested an armed man in Iowa who intended to kill President Joe Biden, former President Barack Obama, and Facebook (now Meta) founder Mark Zuckerberg.

According to officials, 25-year-old Kauchua Briyon Syun, an employee at a supermarket in California, was apprehended last week and is currently in jail. Law enforcement found an AR-15 rifle, ammunition, a loaded magazine, a bulletproof vest, and pill bottles in the man's vehicle.

It is reported that Syun left his home on December 18, intending, as authorities suggest, “to proceed directly to the White House... to kill people in power.” The man told investigators that he had created his own list of “evil people” whom he planned to kill. Among those listed, besides Biden, Obama, and Zuckerberg, is the name of the U.S. chief infectious disease expert, Dr. Anthony Fauci, the channel reports.

According to the complaint presented, Syun used a smartphone app and selected the White House as his target. The man showed investigators an image of the White House grounds, “including the alleged 'weak point' he discovered while preparing for the attack.”

“He added that should he be released from custody, he would immediately continue his way to the White House... and do everything possible to execute the plan. Syun stated that he does not intend to return to California... as he plans to die fighting against the 'evil spirits' of the White House,” the court documents quote the man, as reported by the channel. Authorities have charged the man with making threats against a former U.S. president.
