Video: Following the Brutal Murder in Gyumri, the Suspect Demonstrates on a Dummy How He Killed a 63-Year-Old Woman

Recently, by the decision of the head of the Shirak regional investigative department of Armenia's Investigative Committee, Agasi Ishakyan, an investigative group was formed, led by senior investigator Muradyan, working on a particularly important case. A 50-year-old resident of Yerevan, Gevorg M., who was arrested in connection with a sensational murder case, was brought to a clothing store located in the Bagratuni neighborhood of Gyumri by police and investigators.

According to shamshyan.com from the crime scene, he showcased to the investigative group how he entered the store and demonstrated on a mannequin the position in which he stabbed 63-year-old Anahit Iskandaryan from Gyumri twice.

As previously reported, following the sensational murder that took place on December 28 in Gyumri, there were ongoing discussions that the murder might not be solved, and soon it would be forgotten while the perpetrator or perpetrators would roam freely.

Police detained Gevorg M. from Yerevan on suspicion of the loud murder, bringing him to the Kumayri police station in Gyumri. According to site reports, he was presented from the Kumayri police station to the Shirak regional investigative department of the RA Investigative Committee, where he was arrested by the investigator's decision. A criminal case was initiated against him under Article 104, Part 2, Clause 8 of the RA Criminal Code.

According to G. Shamshyan's information, he confessed that he had committed the murder, and he had burned the wallet and phone at the end of the Yerevan highway in Gyumri, while the murder weapon, a knife, was thrown on the Gyumri-Yerevan highway.
