Tips for the Upcoming Holidays
The Ministry of Health of Armenia has presented guidelines for food preservation during the holidays. The Ministry reminds that during festive days, food items must be properly stored.
- Chicken meat cutlets, salads made from vegetables, meat, fish, and other ingredients seasoned with sour cream or mayonnaise can be stored for a maximum of 12 hours.
- Cooked meat intended for salads, fried dishes made from minced meat such as cutlets, pelmeni, blinchiki, fried liver, boiled chicken meat, fish, and unseasoned vegetable salads can be stored for only 24 hours.
- Fried beef and pork, fried fish, pasteurized milk, cream, fatty and low-fat diet cottage cheese, and cream cakes are recommended to be kept for 36 hours.
- Fried chicken and rabbit, grilled fish, yogurt, and dietary sour cream can be stored for 48 hours.
- Sour cream, creamless or protein cream cakes, and confectioneries can be kept for 72 hours.
