The Area Surrounding Turkey's Military Base in Iraq Is Shelled
The area surrounding Turkey's military base in the Bashika region, located 30 km from Mosul, Iraq, has been shelled. Two rockets fell near the village of Jebran, which is very close to the Turkish military base in the Bashika region. This was reported by "Ermenihaber."
Turkish and Kurdish media outlets have reported that it is still unclear who carried out the attack. According to information, there are no reported casualties or injuries. It should be noted that on December 10, 2015, Turkish troops had entered the Bashika region, 30 km from Mosul, without the permission of the central Iraqi authorities, establishing themselves in a military base previously founded by Turkey.
