Pashinyan's Delegation Heads to St. Petersburg
The delegation of the Armenian government, led by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, is set to depart for St. Petersburg today. The delegation consists of 8 members, and Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan will assume the responsibilities of Prime Minister during Pashinyan's absence.
According to the relevant decision, it states:
- In accordance with Part 5 of Article 7 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia on the Structure and Activities of the Government, the government delegation is to be sent to the Russian Federation (St. Petersburg) on December 28, 2021, to participate in the informal summit of the leaders of the CIS member states.
- During the period of the delegation's stay as mentioned in point 1 of this decision, the duties of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia will be entrusted to Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan.
- Expenses related to the government delegation of the Republic of Armenia's trip to the Russian Federation (St. Petersburg), including airport service expenses, will be covered based on documents justifying actual expenses, including costs incurred by Nikol Pashinyan, Suren Varosyan, Armen Khachatryan, Tigran Mehrabyan, Arman Shahinyan, and Alexander Abrahamyan, as well as expenses related to representation and vehicle rentals from the funds allocated for foreign business trips in the service maintenance of the Prime Minister's staff, and expenses for purchasing souvenirs from the funds allocated for representation expenses in the service maintenance of the Prime Minister's staff. Additional necessary expenses will be covered by:
- Davitt Ter-Mkrtycheyan from the funds of the Protocol Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.
- Robert Kavkasyan from the budget allocated for official foreign trips of the Republic of Armenia.
- The head of the Prime Minister's staff is instructed to organize a special flight on December 28, 2021, for the route Yerevan - St. Petersburg - Yerevan.
- The Chairman of the Civil Aviation Committee of the Republic of Armenia is tasked with assisting the Prime Minister's staff in organizing the flight mentioned in point 4 of this decision.
- Expenses related to organizing the special flight will be covered by the funds allocated for foreign business trips in the service maintenance of the Prime Minister's staff.
