Tragic Incident in Metsamor: Man's Body Found in Backyard Pit

On December 27, a tragic incident occurred in the Armavir region. Around 18:40, a call was received from the Metsamor police department at the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia's 9-11 crisis management center, requesting that rescuers approach house No. 27 on 1st Street in Metsamor, as there was a body in the backyard pit.

According to Shamshyan.com, rescuers from the Armavir regional rescue service quickly arrived on the scene and retrieved the body of 58-year-old Vaghik T. from the pit using a rope.

Initial findings from the forensic examination revealed abrasions on the elbows and knees, as well as lacerations on the forehead, temples, and nasal area. Materials are being prepared on the matter, and a forensic medical examination of the body has been ordered.
