Explosion in Aragatsotn Province: 86-Year-Old Man and His 55-Year-Old Son Hospitalized

According to Shamshyan.com, an explosion occurred in Aragatsotn Province on December 25. At approximately 11:20 AM, a call was received at the Ashotarak Medical Center reporting that two citizens had been admitted with bodily injuries.

As reported by Shamshyan.com, an operative group from the Ashotarak Police Department, led by a community police inspector, rushed to the hospital.

The police identified the injured as 86-year-old Chapaev V. and his 55-year-old son Stepan V., residents of one of the villages in Aragatsotn Province.

While the doctors were providing assistance to the injured, the community police inspector ascertained that they sustained their injuries due to an explosion caused by a gas leak from a gas cylinder located in the basement of their home.

Materials are being prepared regarding the incident.
