Returned Major Detained

The Court of Appeals, having upheld the prosecutor's complaint, has decided to detain the returned major Narek Yerimyan for 2 months. This information was provided to the media by Yerimyan's lawyer, Karmen Poghosyan.

“A very unpleasant situation has arisen. We will appeal to the court again. We will also try to reach a certain agreement with the body conducting the proceedings regarding the detention issue within a 15-day period,” said the lawyer.

It is worth noting that the court had previously rejected the prosecutor's request for the detention of Major Narek Yerimyan, the deputy commander of a battalion, but the prosecutor then appealed to the Court of Appeals.
