Military Police Employees Did Not Receive Bonuses: Ministry of Defense

In response to information circulating in the media and social networks regarding the partial payment of December salaries to contract servicemen of the RA Armed Forces, as well as claims that this is due to insufficient funding, the Ministry of Defense reports that there is no problem related to the funding of salaries.

The misunderstanding arises regarding the remuneration of contract servicemen for December, which consists of two main components: the base salary and additional payments based on service conditions and location. Therefore, the base salary for the servicemen for December has been fully transferred, while the additional payments will be made at the beginning of the following month (in this case, January), when the actual number of days served by the servicemen will be calculated. This means that the additional payments for December will be made by the 7th working day of January 2022.
