I Try to Personally Select New Year's Gifts for My Grandchildren: Putin
Russian President Vladimir Putin has stated that he attempts to personally choose the New Year's gifts for his grandchildren, although he does not go shopping. He made this remark during the Russian television program "Moscow. Kremlin. Putin" broadcast on Russia-1.
Putin also mentioned that he can partially spend the festive days with his family. The President expressed hope that his selected gifts would be liked by his grandchildren. Earlier, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov clarified that Putin will celebrate the New Year and Christmas surrounded by friends and relatives.
This is the first time Putin has spoken about his grandchildren in an interview, specifically during a conversation with American journalist Oliver Stone.
