Azerbaijan to Sue Armenia for 'Illegal Use of Energy Resources': Bayramov

Azerbaijan will soon appeal to an international arbitration court to hold Armenia accountable for damages caused during the occupation of Azerbaijani territories. This statement was made by Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov while summarizing the year's events.

“According to international conventions, Armenia must also answer for the damage caused to Azerbaijan’s nature. Additionally, we intend to hold Armenia accountable for the illegal use of Azerbaijan’s energy resources,” he stated. Bayramov emphasized that these issues are among the priorities for 2022.
