Azerbaijani Citizens Annoyed by Aliyev's Son Wearing Military Uniform
A significant uproar has emerged in Azerbaijani social media platforms regarding the fact that terrorist Ilham Aliyev's son, Heydar Aliyev, wore a military uniform, as reported by the Azerbaijan Postfactum Telegram channel.
“It must be noted that there is a decree from January 14, 2004 (On Wearing Military Uniforms). According to paragraph 19 of the decree, the right to wear military uniforms is granted to all servicemen actively serving in the state border service (drafted servicemen for retraining), as well as to those individuals who have been dismissed or have retired, provided they benefit from the right to wear military uniforms. Citizens who do not have the right to wear military uniforms are prohibited from wearing uniforms with military insignia.
It turns out that, yes, Heydar Aliyev (the son) did not have the right to wear this uniform, and a gross violation of law took place… Naturally, no one is willing to hold him legally accountable…”
