15 Vehicles Stranded Amid Adverse Weather Conditions: Emergency Situations Ministry Summary

From December 25 to 26, the Crisis Management National Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received 13 reports regarding vehicles stranded in various regions of the republic. Specifically, reports came from the cities of Spitak in Lori Province, Martuni in Gegharkunik Province, Tsakhkadzor in Kotayk Province, and Aparan in Aragatsotn Province, as well as from the settlements of Tsilkar, Ria Taza, Alagyaz, and Vayots Dzor's Verin Khotan, and from the village of Ashotzk in Shirak Province.

Additionally, stranded vehicles were reported on the Martuni-Geghard, Yerevan-Sevan, Yerevan-Meghri, and Mets Masrik-Tretuk highways. Rescuers who arrived at the scene managed to free 15 vehicles and provided necessary assistance to 17 individuals.
