What Percentage of COVID-19 Deaths in Armenia Are Men?

In Armenia, men make up 41 percent of COVID-19 cases, while women account for 59 percent. Romella Abovyan, head of the Infectious and Non-Infectious Disease Epidemiology Division of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention, stated this during a meeting with reporters.

Abovyan emphasized that 57 percent of those who died from COVID-19 in Armenia are men, while 43 percent are women. She noted that over the past two weeks, there has been a decrease in COVID-19 cases across all age groups, including among minors.
