Unvaccinated Employees Required to Undergo Testing: Government Announcement
The Government of Armenia states: “The requirement for PCR testing remains in effect, and unvaccinated employees are obliged to undergo testing. The Constitutional Court has recognized the Minister of Health's order No. 65-N issued on August 20, 2021, as constitutional.
The requirement for PCR testing established by the Minister's order is legal, as it stems from public health interests. The Constitutional Court deemed the phrase ‘at the employee's expense’ in all the appendices of the Minister of Health's order unconstitutional, yet this does not eliminate the obligation for employees to present PCR test results.
No special or free conditions will be arranged for the PCR testing of unvaccinated employees, thus, based on the Minister's order, unvaccinated employees are still required to undergo testing and submit the results to their employers through the legally stipulated procedures.”
