The Road Through Syunik Could Become Transcontinental, Prime Minister

In my understanding, the road through Syunik is not just a route connecting Azerbaijan and its western regions, but rather a transcontinental road, the opening of which is also of interest to Armenia. When we reach an agreement with Azerbaijan, we must have a route that will facilitate transcontinental freight transportation, from which Armenia will benefit greatly, stated Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

Pashinyan did not exclude the possibility of constructing a road through Syunik in addition to the railway. According to him, this road will not only enable a North-South corridor but also serve as a route connecting the West and the East.
