Accident in Vayots Dzor Region: 67-Year-Old Driver Ends Up in Gorge with Nissan XTrail

Today, December 24, an accident occurred in the Vayots Dzor region. At approximately 09:50, 67-year-old Khoren Hovhannisyan, a resident of the Vayots Dzor region, lost control of his Nissan XTrail vehicle on the 117 km section of the Yerevan-Meghri highway. The car veered off the roadway and slid about 3 meters into a gorge.

According to Shamshyan.com, before the arrival of firefighters, bystanders managed to pull three passengers out of the vehicle.

The emergency response team from the Yeghegnadzor Medical Center also arrived promptly to assist the individuals involved, however, they declined to go to the hospital.
