Quarantine Extended in Artsakh for Three More Months

Quarantine Extended in Artsakh for Three More Months

The quarantine imposed in Artsakh has been extended for three more months, with certain restrictions being eased. This decision is driven by the necessity to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus and to eliminate it throughout the entire territory of the Republic of Artsakh, with the quarantine now extended until March 24, 2022.

According to the government decision and the subsequent order of the Minister of Health, some of the previously applied restrictions have been lifted or modified to more lenient conditions. The changes specifically relate to the following points:

  • The educational process in the Republic will fully resume while adhering to anti-epidemic rules.
  • The organization, holding, and participation in gatherings and other events are permitted only in compliance with the relevant sanitary and epidemiological safety regulations established by the Minister of Health of the Republic of Artsakh.
  • The limitation on the number of participants in events has been removed in the appropriate provisions.
  • The requirement to present a certificate confirming a negative PCR test result every 14 days when attending the workplace has also been lifted.
  • After vaccination, individuals may stay home for two days without working upon the doctor's recommendation.
  • In all possible cases, the work of pregnant women and other individuals in risk categories will be organized remotely.

The rules for the use of personal protective equipment remain in effect, with additional control over compliance being implemented.
