Prime Minister's Office Purchases 12 'Niva' Cars for 69 Million Drams
The Prime Minister's Office announced an electronic auction on December 13, 2021, and has acquired 12 'Niva' vehicles from 'Megna' LLC for its needs. This was reported by Hetq.
According to the data from the state procurement system armeps.am, the contract between the Prime Minister's Office and 'Megna' LLC was signed yesterday, December 22. The total value of the contract is 69 million 600 thousand drams.
Under this contract, 'Megna' LLC is obliged to supply 12 Lada Niva Legend vehicles to the Prime Minister's Office by April 30, 2022. The price of one vehicle is 5 million 800 thousand drams.
The technical specifications of the supplied products indicate that the cars will be 2022 models and will be white in color.
'Megna' LLC also has experience collaborating with other state departments. In addition to supplying vehicles, the company has provided maintenance and repair services.
The aforementioned contract with the Prime Minister's Office is the most expensive for the company.
According to the register of legal entities, 'Megna' LLC was founded in 2004 by businessman Rafael Shahmuradyan. Since 2005, 8.33 percent of the company belongs to his two sons—Karen Shahmuradyan, a member of the 5th convocation of Parliament, and Ashot Shahmuradyan—while 83.34 percent is owned by Rafael Shahmuradyan's wife, Lusya Ter-Sargsyan.
