Number of Children Vaccinated Against Coronavirus in Armenia Revealed
Approximately 1200 children in Armenia have received the first dose of the coronavirus vaccine. This information was provided by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia in response to a written inquiry from Sputnik Armenia.
“As of December 19, 2021, a total of 1199 first doses and 465 second doses of the vaccine have been administered to children aged 12 to 17,” the response stated.
Additionally, the ministry mentioned that there is currently no discussion regarding changes to the age threshold for vaccination policies.
The media outlet also inquired about the number of hospitalized patients infected with the coronavirus who have been vaccinated. “As of December 20, out of 1317 hospitalized patients, 67 have been vaccinated,” the ministry's response indicated.
