If the Opportunity Arises, We Are Ready to Go to Baku and Ankara: Armen Grigoryan on the '3+3' Format

We will discuss Armenian-Turkish relations more in a bilateral format, but if there is an opportunity to talk within the '3+3' framework, we will also take that opportunity to engage with Turkey. This was stated by the Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, in an interview with Public Television.

In response to the question of whether this means that Armenian representatives will also go to Ankara, given that Turkey's Foreign Minister has announced that the next meeting will be held in Turkey and then in Baku, and that representatives from those countries will also visit Armenia, Grigoryan replied, 'If the opportunity arises, we are ready to go, and we are also prepared to host those countries here to organize discussions on regional issues.'

The first meeting in this regional format took place on December 10 in Moscow, where Armenia was represented at the level of the Deputy Foreign Minister. Georgia, despite having its state flag present at the meeting, did not participate.
