Borrell Describes Armenia and Azerbaijan Leaders' Talks in Brussels as Astonishing

It is astonishing that for the first time the Prime Minister of Armenia and the President of Azerbaijan exchanged constructive statements at the "Eastern Partnership" summit. This was written in a blog post by Josep Borrell, the head of the European Union's foreign policy office.

He noted that this was made possible thanks to mediation efforts and the support of Charles Michel, the President of the European Council, which demonstrated the EU's willingness to play a more active role in efforts to resolve the conflict in the South Caucasus.
