Video: Current Situation on Roads in Armenia

Auroranews has obtained a video from the section of Charentsavan city in the Kotayk region. The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that there are closed roads in the territory of Armenia.

The road from the Amberd fortress to the Kari lake in the Aragatsotn region is closed. Due to the risk of landslides, the road from Zovuni village to the Korean gorge is temporarily closed. The roads of Amasia-Berdashen and Ashotsk-Krasar in the Shirak region are difficult to traverse.

The Vardenyats mountain pass and the Saravan-Zanger section are impassable for truck trailers. There is black ice in certain areas of the Vardaghbyur-Bavra road in Shirak region and the Aparan-Aragats road in Aragatsotn region.

Snowfall has occurred in Charentsavan, Abovyan, and Hrazdan cities of Kotayk region, as well as in the Amasia district of Shirak region. In the village of Ashotsk in Shirak region, there is a snowdrift.

Regarding Lars, according to information received from the Emergency Situations Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is closed for all types of vehicles.
