Video: FSB Colonel Present at Boris Avagyan's Arrest
Boris Avagyan, the former Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations of Artsakh and a former official at Rosreestr, was arrested at a restaurant in Petrograd, St. Petersburg. He had been placed on international wanted lists by Russia. According to reports from 78.ru, Avagyan was involved in the issues surrounding the return of prisoners.
Russian law enforcement accuses Avagyan of organizing a criminal group that imported equipment under the guise of cheap building materials. As per Hraparak.am's information, Avagyan was fully aware that his entry into Russia was prohibited and that he would be detained as soon as he crossed the border. However, it appears that he managed to end up in the center of St. Petersburg in the company of Igor Oleinikov, a senior official from the FSB.
Furthermore, our sources indicate that Avagyan was under a restrictive measure not to leave the country, and his SЕКТ system was blocked. It remains unclear how he crossed the border from Armenia.
